CATAPULT ONE, GOTHIA CUP

The Brief

Catapult One technology helps football coaches and players track and measure performance which makes it easier for them to improve their game. As sponsors of the 2022 Gothia Cup, the biggest youth football tournament in the world, our brief was to develop and implement a creative experiential activation that leveraged the product’s functionality in an engaging and relevant way to drive sales.

Campaign Execution

The tournament was hosted in Sweden and our client was based in the US. We developed the creative concept, brand design and logistics of the event activation and worked our specialist local event manager and the Gothia Cup events team to deliver the experience in Sweden compliant to local promotion & data laws…all in one month.

For the final match of the Six Nations, the Clubhouse Champions were invited to watch Wales vs. Italy from a hospitality box, as a token of appreciate for all they have done for their local communities.

Our #FindYourFast live experience enabled players to trial the product whilst competing to be crowned the fastest player of the tournament. The activation included multiple touch points to trial the product, demo the tracking and data as well as a sales promotion to win a year’s suscription.

Results 

The event resulted in over 100 sales and high levels of brand awareness with the tournament audience.
